Corvallis Guitar Society Festival, 7 – 9:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan, 333 NW 35th St. Evening concerts feature Connie Sheu on Friday and Tal Hurwitz on Saturday. OSU Fall Choral Concert, 7 p.m., Detrick Hall, PRAx, 470 SW 15th St. Performances by the Oregon State University choral program, including the OSU Chamber Choir, Vocal Ensemble, Bella Voce and the OSU Meistersingers. Tickets are $10, free for students. See here.
“Puffs,” 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Crescent Valley High School Auditorium, 4444 NW Highland Dr. A play about “seven increasingly eventful years at a certain school of magic and magic.” Tickets are $15 general admission, and $5 for ages 18 and under. Virtual Star Party, 7 – 9 p.m., online. The Heart of the Valley Astronomers Club will remotely control a telescope with a camera that can take pictures of galaxies, nebula, star cluster and comets and show them to you in real time. Free. Queervallis Pride Pageant, 7:30 – 10 p.m., Whiteside Theatre, 361 SW Madison Ave. Presented by the Haus of Dharma, this annual LGBTQIA+ pageant promises an unforgettable night of fierce drag performances, extravagant looks, and pure artistry. Tickets are $10 pre-sale and $15 at the door. See here.
Skye Consort & Emma Björling, 7:30 p.m., Majestic Theatre, 115 SW 2nd St. Performing trans-Atlantic music from Scandinavia, Ireland and the British Isles, French-Canada, and tunes of their own devising. Tickets are $25 adults, $20 students/seniors., available here.
“Vinegar Tom,” 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Ray Theater, PRAx, 470 SW 15th St. Caryl Churchill’s experimental 1976 play, presented by Oregon State University’s School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts and University Theatre. Contains content not suitable for all audiences. Additional performances through Nov. 24 (2 p.m.); sign-language interpreted performance is Nov. 22.
