Mickey Riley Star Spangled Tournament, Hansen Stadium at Taylor Field, 1400 NW Buchanan Ave. The eight-team tournament features top American Legion baseball teams from the region, including the Corvallis Gerding Marketmen. Games will take place at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, July 3 through Sunday, July 6. See here for the schedule.
Red, White & Blue Riverfront Festival, 10 a.m. – 11 p.m., Corvallis Downtown Riverfront, First Street between Van Buren and Monroe. A family festival featuring live music, food vendors, colorful crafts, booths, and children’s activities. Wacky Indoor Bounce will have bounce houses from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. The music schedule includes: 12 p.m., Tequila Daydream; 2 p.m., Ludicrous Speed; 4 p.m., Titans of Industry; 6 p.m., Hillstomp; and 8 p.m., Bon Bon Vivant. Funk for Freedom, 8 – 11:30 p.m., Corvallis Odd Fellows Hall, 223 SW 2nd St. Celebrate Independence Day with an evening of joyful community dance led by local DJs, each with their own unique style and vibes. Admission is $10-$30 per person (sliding scale), $5 for full-time students (with ID), teens, or Oregon Trail cardholders, and free for children 12 or younger - 100% of profits will be donated directly to the ACLU to defend civil rights.
