Benton County Crisis Center Open House and Information Fair, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 240 NW 4th St. A community open house of the new Benton County Crisis Center, which will provide walk-in, mental health treatment center for people experiencing mental health crises. Visitors can stop at information stations set up throughout the building to learn about its planning, design and construction and the services that will be offered in each space. Making Tracks, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., 200 SW 1st St. A laid-back, downtown murals walk. Perfect for anyone who enjoys fresh air and meeting new people. All walks are led by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Art Koebel. Walks are designed to be accessible. Enroll here through Corvallis Parks & Recreation, $5 residents, $8 non-residents.
Open Streets Corvallis, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The 7th annual, free street festival to be held on a car-free route between Lilly Park and Willamette Park in South Corvallis. Lilly Park will feature a dance stage with scheduled performances and Willamette Park will host live music. There will also be a parade led by local funk and jazz band, DTW, leaving from Lilly Park at 11:15 a.m. Find giant games in the parks, bicycle-powered rides, art activities, local food and drink, street installations, and more. Get there by taking the event shuttle or joining a group bike ride that leaves from Garfield Park at 10:30 a.m. See here for all the details.
