Discovery Day – Letitia Carson, Black Pioneer, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Philomath Museum, 1101 Main St., Philomath. A free family event centered around Letitia Carson, a homesteader in Benton County in 1845. At this interactive discovery day, try your hand at making butter from cow’s milk. Chamber Music Corvallis Presents: Les Délices, 4 p.m., Detrick Hall, PRAx, 470 SW 15th St. Les Délices performs Classical works for oboe quartet (oboe, violin, viola, and cello) on historical period instruments, exploring the unique sound of Bohemian chamber music with works by Krommer, Druschetzky, and Wrankitzky and Mozart.
