Corvallis Farmers’ Market, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., 1st and Jackson, downtown Corvallis. Bring a bucket and take home some free compost from Republic Services. There will be a resource fair, speakers, honor bead ceremony, and a campus walk (noon) to downtown and back. The OSU Marine and Geology Repository is hosting a day of educational activities and crafts for all ages focused on geology and marine science. Explore deep-sea mud cores, ancient ice, volcanoes, rocks of Minecraft, and more. Tour the facility to learn how scientists use cores and rocks to find clues about Earth’s history. Northside Open Studios Tour, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. both days, Saturday and Sunday, Corvallis. This free, open studios tour will feature more than 30 local artists in 17 locations, with 2 studios hosting over 15 youth artists - all to celebrate spring and community connection through art.
